I went to every lesson with great pleasure, Stefan shared his experience, knowledge and skills and most importantly he was eager to teach me everything he knows, he never emphasized what I know, he saw my weaknesses and worked on them, he taught me how to drive correctly and safely wherever I was, whether it was in Switzerland or in any other country. He could repeat the same rules with me 100 times if it was necessary, as for him the most important thing was my understanding and knowing the rules 100%. Expérience fantastique: Nach einer längeren Pause und nach ein paar schlechten Erlebnissen auf der Strasse habe ich ein paar Auffrischungsstunden bei Stefan genommen. Im ersten Zoommeeting haben wir meine Bedürfnisse besprochen, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Er hört genau zu und geht somit auf die Bedürfnisse ein. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt Unsicherheiten mitzuteilen und Stefan hat konstruktive Tipps gegeben. Die Atmosphäre während der Stunde ist sehr locker und unbeschwert. He is a very professional coach, during the sessions he observes student behavior very keenly and provides the feedback. also understands from the learner's point of view, this helps a lot to clarify questions and doubts. Expérience fantastique: Mit dem Aufgebot zu einer Kontrollfahrt (Augen) hat mir das Strassenverkehrsamt empfohlen, mich vorgängig mit einer Fahrschule in Verbindung zu setzen. So bin ich mit meinem über 90 Jahren noch einmal "zur Schule" gegangen. Zum Glück habe ich in Stephan Plüss einen Lehrer gefunden, der mich verstanden und sehr gut vorbereitet hat. Neben seiner grossen fachlichen Kompetenz besitzt Stephan auch die Gabe, auf die speziellen Bedürfnisse seiner Schüler einzugehen. Dazu kommt auch noch seine angenehme Art, mit interessanten Gesprächen zwischendurch Nervosität abzubauen und eine entspannte menschliche Atmosphäre zu schaffen. I planned to change my driving licence to Swiss licence. He explained me the details of rules and different situation in the Swiss roads. Sometimes he repeated many times the same rules ( blond is blond)). I feel that I can drive now with confidence in new environment. And exam was passed successfully. Thank you, Stefan. Recently I had the pleasure to have Stefan as my instructor, and now that the whole process is concluded with success, I believe that my experience might be valuable for someone else, who is walking in my shoes. Even though I already had a Driving license from my home country before moving to Switzerland, I had not driven in a many years. Despite that driving might not be the most sustainable way of commuting, I believe that the driving skills are vital in our modern world. So, I decided to look for a driving instructor that would help me navigate the Swiss infrastructure, build some confidence behind the wheel and teach me the best practices of driving in a safe way. Before starting, I was attracted to Stefans practice, because of the fact that he offers his services in English, he is highly recommended online and because he is the instructor and the owner of the practice :D I had all in all more than 15 lessons with Stefan. From my point of view, he isn't just a driving instructor, but an educator. Stefan has a lot of experience and it shows. First, he detects potential issues, then he tries to make you reflect on the root cause of those issues, and finally how to correct them. Usually the different topics are broken into smaller chucks, that are easier to learn and manage. He is well organized, by keeping notes and tracking your progress. On a personal level, he is a patient person, with lots of humor and friendly enough to discuss on different topics over a cup of coffee ☕️

Each lesson he focuses on the things most challenging specifically for you. We went through all the most tricky spots in Bern. He’s very organized, keeping notes to refer to at each next lesson. I needed to convert my existing driving license to Swiss one and I passed my exam at the first attempt! I couldn’t be happier!

Expérience fantastique: Mein Schwiegersohn aus Uganda musste zum Umtauschen seines Führerausweises in der Schweiz eine Kontrollfahrt machen. Nach ein paar Fahrten zusammen schlug ich ihm vor bei einem Fahrlehrer zu erfahren was verlangt wird und aktuell ist. Bei der ersten Fahrstunde mit Stefan, die ich als stiller Passagier begleiten durfte, war es für uns klar dass wir die richtige Wahl getroffen haben. Es war sehr hilfreich dass Stefan viel Erfahrung hat mit den verschiedensten Kulturen, Fahrstilen und auch die Sprachen beherrscht. Vielen Dank für die Vorbereitung auf die erfolgreiche Prüfung.

Expérience fantastique: Got two lessons before my exam, everything was nice and clear. I'd say exactly what I expected. Have to say I already had a driver licence(but couldn't exchange it) and took these lessons more or less just to get familiar with Bern roads rather then getting any direct driving experience. Anyway, Stefan is a nice guy, and and was able to easily explain what needs to be done to success my exam (not to mentions priceless smalltaks). One more thing to mention is I live in Zurich but had to take the exam in Bern as in Zurich they only speak German (even though they can speak English well enough). Stefan also helped me to arrange the exam in English in Bern. Overall I can't find anything to complain about. P.S. The exam itself was really good. Inspector wasn't pushing at all. I did couple of mistakes but still got the licence.

He is well-prepared, organized, and can effectively guide you to be very skillful at driving especially in Bern area. From what I have seen, he is well prepare to give you all the indications of what is needed as well as it is a nice guy to learn driving from. Expérience fantastique: I came to know about Stefan through one of my friends. Her impression was so positive and so without a second thought, I contacted Stefan.  He arranged our first appointment where he came, took a demo test and pointed out my strong and weak points. We started by focusing on my weak points. I took around 10 lessons before the exam. Each time he noted down my progress. After each class, I got my progress report via google sheets, where I can see my scores, my chances to clear the test, weak points where I should focus more, notes on what should be improved etc..   Apart from that, I got a self evaluation sheets where I can note myself on what I feel myself did right and didn't in each class. So, I always had the chance to look back at my mistakes and the strong side. I believe, it is most important for a learner as exchanging the license is not just about learning, but unlearning our old bad habits, relearning new techniques and thus a new traffic culture. During my classes, I made some terrible mistakes but I never saw him angry. Each time, he just explained to me the cause of the mistake and what can be done to avoid such mistakes in the future. He is always positive, a great teacher, a great mentor and of course a great supporter. I remember that on the day of my test, I was too nervous and he made me comfortable as always... And also I should add that, I successfully completed my test... If you are planning to have a teacher, there is no need to give a second thought. Just go ahead and call Stefan... This man has a great vibe. Thank you very much Stefan.

Ich drücke die Daumen, dass ich bald meinen Schweizer Führerschein bekomme.

Expérience fantastique: Der perfekte Fahrlehrer!!! Mein Mann musste sein Führerausweis in einen Schweizer Führerausweis umschreiben lassen. Er spricht nicht so gut Deutsch, daher war für uns die Wahl des Fahrlehrers noch schwieriger. Wir sind mit einem spanischsprachigen Fahrlehrer gefahren, was ok war, dann hatten wir einen anderen und es war auch ok, aber als wir mit Stefan gefahren sind, wussten wir beide sofort, wir haben den idealen Fahrlehrer gefunden. Ein sehr professioneller Fahrlehrer! Stefan ist Mega freundlich und das ohne Dauergrinsen. Er kommuniziert auf eine Weise, dass es auch fast ohne Sprache geht, Er hat so viel Verständnis uns Respekt und wir lieben die Art, wie er meinen Mann auf seine Fehler aufmerksam machte, mit Humor, locker und super verständlich. Wir haben genossen die Fahrt mit Stefan und haben uns super wohlgefühlt mit ihm. Als Mensch höchstens sympathisch!
